How to remove limescale from taps
Choose a cleaner suitable for your tap’s finish.
Identify the deposits
Limescale can build up on tap surfaces, inside aerators and on shower heads, reducing water flow.
Follow the instructions
Check that the tap manufacturer permits the chosen limescale remover. Use the quantity and contact time stated on the product label. Do not extend the contact time or mix cleaners.
Rinse thoroughly
Remove and clean detachable parts only as directed by the manufacturer. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and run the water briefly.
