How to organise a child’s room
Involve children in organising their space.
Prepare and sort
Gather clear boxes, compartments, shelves and a basket. Remove broken toys. Keep small or sharp items out of reach. Limit the selection and rotate toys.
Arrange
Group related toys within reach. Stack larger boxes below smaller ones. Store cards in compartments; display a few books face-out. Use a bicycle wall rack. Create an art corner with separated supplies.
Keep order
Give each child a shelf. Let children help sort. Make tidying a game with music.
