How to organise makeup and jewellery
Small containers and careful sorting make little items easier to find.

Sort makeup by type
Prepare several baskets and boxes, preferably transparent. Put brushes in one, eyeshadows in another and blushers in a third. Keep one product type in each container. Match the container size to the quantity so everything stays easy to find. For a cupboard or small space, choose lidded plastic boxes that can be stacked.
Use clear glasses
Clear glasses can hold brushes, eye pencils and mascara. They keep products visible and easy to find while creating a tidy display.
Keep jewellery separate
Sort and store jewellery separately so delicate chains do not tangle with larger pieces. Use a box with small compartments, such as a pill organiser, for earrings and rings. Place one pair of earrings or one ring in each compartment. Hang necklaces and bracelets, separating delicate chains from larger necklaces. Attach large, heavy earrings to a piece of velvet that you can unfold to see the collection.
